Every now and then, I come across something on the internet that I can't stop thinking about, something that makes me laugh or leaves me on the verge of tears, something that is worth sharing. This new feature is dedicated to these blog posts and articles.

Without further ado, these are a few of the things I have read over the last month that have stood out:

I've might have been struggling to write about Mumbai myself, but this post describes it perfectly as a city that mesmerises.

I love this post about taking delight in the little things in life.

Sarah's account of her boyfriend's first flight literally left my skin tingling. It's not the flying, it's the fact that it meant so much to her and you can feel their love for one another through her words.

This post provides a great overview of the markets in Chiang Mai. I cannot wait until our travels start and I can go visit them all myself!

As it was February, Valentine's Day has been talked about a lot, but I love this different take on the day; it's not about buying overpriced gifts for your partner, it's about reminding everyone how much you love them.

There are some beautiful photos of Salvation Mountain here and Geraldine's beliefs are freakishly similar to my own, especially the one about dessert after every meal!

Christine's post on Mexican street food makes me want to jump straight on a plane there and eat everything in sight!

I'm excited to follow Diana's journey as she gets out of her comfort zone; I think it's something that everyone should put a little more effort into doing!

This restaurant sounds amazing. You get to try a total of eight dishes before you even decide what you want to order!

What are the best things you've read this month?

PS. If you loved this round up, you'll love this list of the six best new travel blogs.

I've managed to read 5 books so far this year --- 3 of them during a cruise. While I enjoyed them all (to one degree or another), none are anything I'd want to "recommend" to someone without knowing anything about their reading preferences -- mystery, travel narrative, legal thriller. As a blogger, I also read a lot of blog posts (i.e. this one!). I enjoy the interactive nature of blogging and blog reading/commenting, but I'm not sure it's for everyone. And now ---I have to get to work!!

Five books in two months is pretty impressive! I haven't actually read a single book so far this year if I'm honest - spent too much time online instead!

I am intrigued by the list you compiled. Reading is on my someday list, but I've got too many irons in the fire as they say. What am I up too this week? A minecraft birthday cake for my grandson, a prince charming costume for a three year old, and getting ready for doing a Camp Grandma crafting segment on a television show.

Thanks so much for sharing my post. It's not always easy to write about, but I'm glad I did if anyone walked away with a little inspiration. :)

No problem :) Your story really touched me, I love the way you managed to take such a positive outlook from a tragic event.

I love reading round ups, thanks for sharing these links! As for my personal reading list, I was rolling through it until my e-reader died on my last month! Grrrr. Now I've got a month left in Central America, backpacking by myself, with nothing but the audio book I fortunately downloaded before I left. I'm off to read some of these stories while I still have internet!

Oh no, that sucks! Though I'm sure there'll be enough in Central America to keep you entertained :)
